Aspect

An aspect is the geometric angle between two planets, showing how they get along: in easy flow, tense friction, or a high-energy merger.

Imagine planets as neighbors. Some share sugar without knocking (trine), others argue about the fence line but end up building a better one (square). An opposition is like living across the street — you see each other's business and have to find balance. They're measured in degrees: 0° is a conjunction (they're roommates, for better or worse), 60° a sextile (a friendly chat), 90° the square (the argument), 120° the trine (the easy bond), 180° the opposition (the standoff). When today's planets hit those angles in your birth chart, you feel it.

Example

'Mercury square your Venus' means the sky's Mercury is at a 90° angle to your birth Venus, so you might find yourself saying 'that's not what I meant' a lot today.

How Today Astro Report uses it

We base every piece of your daily guidance on real aspects between today's planets and your birth chart — so it's not just random advice.

Common misconceptions

The trap is thinking squares are doom and trines are bliss. Squares get you moving; trines can make you hit snooze on your potential.
