Natal Chart

Your natal chart is a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment and place you were born — it's the cosmic blueprint that makes your astrology personal, not just your Sun sign.

Think of it like a photograph of the solar system, with you as the subject, the moment you took your first breath. While your Sun sign is like a movie everyone born that month shares, your natal chart is the specific film about your life — with all the planets placed in signs and houses that only you have. It’s a map, not a script. It shows tendencies, the weather patterns of your personality, not a fixed destiny. Two people born on the same day will have different charts if they were born at different times or places. The Moon moves fast — it changes signs every two and a half days — so your emotional operating system might be entirely different from your birthday twin across the country. And the Rising sign? That's the mask you wear, the welcome mat of your chart, and it changes every two hours. So even being born an hour apart shifts the whole house layout, like moving the furniture in your cosmic apartment.

Example

If you're a Leo Sun born at noon in New York, your Moon might be in Cancer and your Rising in Libra, while a Leo born at midnight in London could have a Virgo Moon and Scorpio Rising — totally different emotional wiring and approach to the world.

How Today Astro Report uses it

We cast your natal chart from your birth date, time, and location, then overlay each day's transits to see what the current planets are doing to your specific blueprint — so your horoscope actually fits you, not just your Sun sign.

Common misconceptions

Your natal chart isn't a fortune cookie spilling your fate. It's a map of your inner wiring, not a to-do list from the universe.
