Moon Sign

Your Moon sign reveals the emotional weather inside you — your instincts, hidden needs, and how you soothe yourself when no one's watching.

Think of your Sun sign as the outfit you choose for the world — polished, deliberate. Your Moon sign is what you look like at 2 AM in your rattiest pajamas, hunched over a pint of ice cream. It's the raw emotional engine under your hood. The Moon moves fast, zipping into a new sign every two and a half days. So even people born a few days apart can have completely different inner landscapes. Two Aries with different Moons? One might start a bar fight then need a hug; the other starts the fight and forgets you exist. The Moon explains why.

Example

An Aries with a Cancer Moon might charge into conflict then crumble when someone raises their voice — that's the Moon serving emotions the Sun never signed up for.

How Today Astro Report uses it

We use your Moon sign to gauge how today's planetary weather will hit you in the feels. It's how we know if a Mercury retrograde will make you lash out, cry, or just need a nap.

Common misconceptions

The Moon isn't the backup singer to your Sun. It runs your emotional control room. Plenty of brave Aries Suns are secretly giant softies because their Cancer Moon is calling the shots.
